The Al Sura, Inc. sponsored 10th Annual White Attire Affair will be held Saturday July 18th at the Capital Yards, 1100 First Street SE, Washington, DC. The VIP reception is from 7:00pm - 9:00pm and the main event from 9:00pm - 1:00 am.

The mission of Al Sura, Inc. is to improve communication, education, and promotional awareness in the struggle to end HIV/AIDS within the African-American community.

Al Sura endeavors to reach out across our communities through social marketing and fundraising opportunities while providing leadership training to individuals and organizations providing HIV/AIDS support targeted to people of color.

The DC Center is metro Washington, DC's gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community center. Founded seven years ago, the DC Center offers a number of programs for the area's community of LBT women, including Women in their 20s, a discussion group for lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, interested and interesting women that meets on the second and fourth Fridays of each month, and Women over Fifty. In addition, the DC Center offers dental dams for free in its office.
